Much new has happened. I have a hot new PC: P3, 700Mhz, 20Gbt HDD, hot modem, etc., etc., etc. It really stokes. This as result of threat to sue over the piece'o I have used for two years. Water under the bridge. I really like it and the USB utility that it brings. Anybody that thinks the few dollar saving one realizes in a cheap motherboard (like the PC Chips one in my old machine)is worth it has no experience. Spend the money. Get something that you can rely on to do the job. Whatever, I have one that seems to be the cat's meow. Seattle's Mariner ballclub stands at the door of a championship, down two wins. They can do it. As always, it is pitching that will save or lose the day. They have the field defence and offence. I love baseball...the only game that the defence has the ball. One game at a time boys, starting tonight. You can do it. Unfortunately, I will be in class while it all happens. Same goes for Monday Night Football; my school makes their programmers zombies. Night crawlers on knees of muddied or bloodied intellectual frustration. I hate it and will probably quit soon (before I get my degree). With my new machine has come entry into Intel's Web outfitters web site. An interesting and educational site it is. The PentiumIII (P3) processor is a quantum leap. I see many new applications and uses. Now chances to realize its potential is certainly to be compromised by further genius. I still wonder at the still unseen level of saturation that is inevitable. The Nasdaq seems to be finding a more realistic floor; the get-rich-quick stampede subsiding in face of the oil price run-up.The aquiring of money continues to be the false value system that roots the moral decay of this society. Hope dictates continued success dependent on common greed meeting common need...there is no success like success itself. Bringing on the election and its incessant commercial lies. Not telling the whole truth is as deviant as an outright lie. Politicians revel in half-truths and non-sensical statements given as gospel truth. For all their noise, The Media seldom questions the wisdom of a position on an issue. Politicians are well-versed and rehearsed at not answering a direct question with a direct answer. With, maybe, the exception of Al Gore and Joe Leiberman, by design if not ethically. They have had my vote from the get-go; so I am not undecided and, therefore, not object of nonsence attendant to the campaigns. As though my vote in this Republican stronghold has any consequesnce. Finally...within the word where is the word here; also, in the word there is the word here. Will people ever learn?
