Tonight the Public Broadcast System (PBS) is taking up prime Saturday Night broadcast time in "A Salute to British Comedy on American Public TV."

This is the proverbial cake calling itself tasty. Think about this: who is the Public Broadcasting System (PBS)? Do you give them money? Are they just too big for their own good? Is this as it was intended or is this another International Olympic Committee (IOC)?

I have more than one reason to [distrust] the English. It goes back to before my people came to the United States. I here suggest a British American Resistance Foundation (B.A.R.F.) be created to lobby the Congress against further funding of the PBS and therewith funding of the British Broadcast System (BBS). Whatever the deal is between the BBS and the PBS, it needs to end NOW!

Try to find out who the PBS is and who is making the decisions (that decide what becomes your informational programming twelve to fifteen months hence). You will find walls greater than the Great Wall; just as you would at finding out whom is who in the members of the IOC. Whatever and whomever the PBS is, they get American tax monies and spend it on their own itinerary. It is the ancestors of George IV reeking revenge and Queen Victoria ethics on the American unsuspecting. This is the last remnant of station as social hierarchy. It is the vestiges of birthright, the self-righteous indignation of the advantaged.

I watched snippets of PBS programming last night that was intent in making homosexuality acceptable to the general public.

We do not (like the Muslims) kill our faggots, our dykes. We sanction their activity as being aberration of normal behavior, which it is. I have certain prejudice against homosexuals, based on the threat of AIDS and the experiential horror stories (that contact with "those people" has revealed in my personal life). That there was such an effort to endeavor to a social level of acceptance of this abortive lifestyle is, to me, the proof of the pudding regarding the above. I would rather opt to a less obvious and less personally repugnant lifestyle alternative in Saturday night programming.

What is going on at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis? Is this the American Public Broadcast System or the British Public Broadcast System? What poets workshops are active in Calgary, Alberta? Where will the future "greats" find their audience?

There is a prevalence of two disturbing and distinct trends in American entertainment; the "bad boy" epoch of talent-less-spoken-simple-rhyme-same-rhythms "rap" artistry (nee social con), and the tokenism of selective and wrong social protest that denigrates the individual from simple social choice. Hip and hep have sunk in the blinding commercial amplitude of each and every technological innovation.

Fortunately, there are cells of innovation that can still be culled from the expanse of opportunity technology presents to the common person today. It will be a coming to a period where the acceleration of opportunity is spasticized by the conservative idioticy. Half the American people are stupid. Live with it.

A special note to any prospective employer reviewing this site. Do not take it too seriously. I do have my opinions and some are fairly radical, but all are demonstrative of a sense of fair play and public righteousness. In other words, I will give you the time and space to express your opinions if you give me the same. Whether or not we agree or not is no where near as important as the mutual respect such expression represents.
